Anyone have a VBA trick to copy and paste a chart from excel into powerpoint as a picture. I am able to use the following command to paste a chart as an "excel chart object" into powerpoint: <definedpowerpointobject>.ActiveWindow.View.Paste. However, my objective is to "paste special" as a picture or bitmap using macros.

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Found something that works.

Use ActiveChart.CopyPicture rather than
ActiveChart.ChartArea.Copy. This copie the chart as a picture and removes the excel link.
