This problem actualy stems from Visual Basic. I created a simple front end for logging into an excel app I'm working on. The excel app consists of three different excel files (XL2K). From vb I simply use the "Call Shell" function to run excel and open the corresponding xl file. Something like this:
Call Shell("C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeexcel.exe \serversharesome folderxlfile.xls", vbMaximizedFocus)
My problem is that it doesn't like the space in the name of "some folder" folder. Any ideas other than renaming the folder (there are already other apps on this same share).
