Excel 2007 - not enough system resources

I have been using Excel 2007 on two machines since Dec 7, 2007 and it has worked wonderfully until the past 5 days. I have Windows XP Professional and 2GB of RAM on both machines. Ever since last weekend 4-14-07 I have been getting "pixelating" screens of Excel and then the message "not enough system resources to display completely" I then cannot work and have to close programs and reboot. When I get this message I usually have 1.2GB of RAM available, so RAM is not the problem. I know there was an Office 2007 security update last week, and it has been since then that I am getting the problem. It doesn't happen every day.
Is anyone else getting this problem?

Thanks
Ed

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

You've been using Excel 2007 since December 2007?

Are you time travelling?:)

Seriously though have you checked out the MS website to see if there could be some problems associated with the security update?

I guess I went "back to the future".

I did try M/S website knowledge base and could not find anything.

This seems to be a not uncommon problem....though from what I can see this does not mean that anyone has come up with an answer. One suggestion was that running Outlook and Excel 2007 together causes problems with the error actually to do with Outlook. That said I have loads of RAM left too.
