Is there a way to get VLookup to use a table on a sheet in another workbook?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

Yes. If you intend to leave workbook containing the lookup_table closed be sure and use an absolute reference.
