Numbers as text-changing in cells

I have a problem where I have downloaded a file from a database, and some of the numbers are represented as text in the cell.

Is there any way I can select the range of text and convert them back to what they should be ie text as text and numbers as numbers?

I am also thinking can I do this and replace the data in the same cells?

Thanks

Or try insert a column and convert to value

sain insert so A in blank data to convert is in B.

=VALUE($B1)

Drag as needed by fill handel, remember to copy A and paste as value prior to delete Col B
