Excel Workgroup Templates?

Greetings...
I created an Excel '00 template, and I would like my co-workers to use it as a Workgroup Template. MS Word has an option for Workgroup templates that allows the user to go to File|New and retrieve a workgroup template. How can I let end users access this template (like they usually would do through MS Word)? (I can't put this template on the server for security purposes.)

Any suggestions are appreciated...

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
If you have a folder you store Workgroup Templates for Word, you can also store Excel templates there. Word sets the default for MS Office files. If you don't have a shared drive to store templates, you will have to distribute copies (Bad idea) and have each user place acopy in their on Excel template folder
