Pivot Table is this the right direction? Or maybe Array?

Hello All,
I have a problem, however when I have tried to get to grips with the PT it seems to get very complex!
I have say a single Project with hours worked on specific days for a particular trade, these hours are split between Normal, Time+Half, Double Time (in seperate columns).
I was hopeful of producing a PT ultimately detailing ..by Trade, Total Normal Hours, Time+Half Hours, Double Time Hours against the Project.
Is this possible and are PTs the best way of going about it or would I be better considering an Array option?
Thanking you in advance.
Sam

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
