Call another Workbook and make it work!?

I have a workbook that has a control button
that opens another workbook. This other
workbook has forms and macro code behind it
that works when I open the workbook by itself.

This is my problem: I want the second workbook only opened when the command button is selected from the first workbook. The command button does open the second workbook but, it does not allow me to select (or move) within this workbook. It sits at the current activecell and makes all changes to that one cell. I though maybe it was the Protection issue, but I've tried that and it doesn't fix anything. Any suggestions????

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Check out the last few replies to the topic "Macro works in native excel but not via automation"

Should work for you also.
