Is there a formula I can use to round numbers up or down to

I need to round all numbers in a column to the nearest 5 ie 1932 becomes 1930 and 1993 becomes 1995?

Try:

=ROUND(A1/5,0)*5

or

=MROUND(A1,5)

The latter requires the Analysis Toolpak (available via Tools|Add-Ins)
