i created a couple sets of Options Buttons from the Forms category (NOT the Control Toolbox). Options buttons are like radio buttons.

in any case, let's say i have 4 buttons, but i want them grouped in 2 sets of 2 buttons each. so if i have buttons 1 & 2 in a set and 3 & 4 in the other set.

how do i group 1 & 2 together and 3 & 4 together? i want it so that if i click on 1, 2 will be unclicked, but 3 AND 4 remain as is. conversely, if i click on 4, 3 is unclicked, but 1 and 2 remain as is.

i tried to right click and GROUP, but the GROUP selection is disabled (i.e., greyed out). please offer help! thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Hi
Place each group of buttons in a seperate frame found on your form toolbox.

Get rid of the frame caption if you want

K?

I think it's called a groupbox if you are using the tools on your worksheet menu bar

thanks tstom. the groupbox works. i had done the same type of thing a while ago and when i re-visted that file, it looked like i had just put a border around the buttons; i guess i didn't look at it carefully enough. when i re-visited the old file a second time, lo & behold, there was a group box. thanks for the help!
