question: I have 20 columns of data, in one of the columns I have a row of dates: example: 1/31/02, what i would like to do is compare the date against today, if its less than or equal to todays date I would like the row of data to turn red. Any help would be appreciated.

Lets say that that column where you have dates is C and that your data start start in row 1.

Select all of the cells of your data range.
Activate Format|Conditional Formatting.
Choose Formula Is for Condition 1.
Enter in the formula box:

=$C1<=TODAY()

Activate Format.
Select a color on the Patterns tab.
Click OK, OK.
