Hi. I was wondering if a workbook created in Excel can be converted somehow to be used as a stand alone software program. Thx Dan

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
Not that I know of...
You can control Excel and many other off the shelf programs with stand alone programming tools such as Visual Basic or C++

Just curious as to why you want it to be stand alone?

All Office Products are extremely customizable and controllable.

For someone who does not have office?

If this is the case you can download Excel Viewer for free from Microsoft's Website
