Is it possible to have a cell look at another cell's number, then produce the text version of that number?

i.e.
A1=$128,554
(therefore)
A2="One hundred twenty eight thousand, five hundred fifty four"

I know I could probably make it work with a lookup, but if there's anyone who knows a more elegant and simple way...please chime in!!!

Have looked around...not found anything yet on this topic. I'll keep looking.

In the meantime, if anyone can provide input on this or steer me in another researchable direction, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks.

I have a spreadsheet that does this for numbers without decimals. You can get the idea on how I did it. If you send me a email address of if you know how to attach a file here I'll send same to you.
