have a worksheet that certain cells needs to be filled with info, but would like to know of a way to get to those cells without using the mouse or arrows to get from one specific cell to the others to imput data. Using the tab key would work to jump from one designated cell to the other.

Thanks..Roy

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hi Roy

You could try this:
Moving left to right. Skip the first cell then select the others holding down the control key, then select your first cell.
Release the control key (cells remain selected). Type data for your first cell then press enter, type data for your second cell then press enter. Data will enter your selected cells one column at a time, moving left to right.
hope this helps

You could format your jumpcells as unproteced.
then protect the sheet.
now the TAB-key will switch only between the unprotected cells
