I am trying to run an Excel AutoOpen macro using Excel 2002 and Windows XP. When I try to use task scheduler to execute a dos batch command to open the Excel file and have it run the macro code the procedure works fine except for when the machine is under the windows password screen saver mode. I need to run the code at night and leave the machine up and running with the password protection enabled. I get a message of "Not enough system resources to display completely". As soon as you click the OK button the thing runs. Is there a way to stop this error message? I have found that I can run an Access macro that kicks off the same Excel macro and it works OK so I doubt that the problem is a system resource. I would like to avoid the extra Access step if I could to get this to run.

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Can't you use the

Application.DisplayAlerts = False

and then =True after the code is complete.

I already tried placing that in the first part of the macro but it doesn't stop this particular message.
