Hi,
I am writing a macro. The macro is a loop that takes data and generates a handful of charts that are inserted as embedded objects in a worksheet. All I want to do is specify the location of the chart on the worksheet. I want the location to be specified relative to the worksheet--not the current location of the chart.
For example, in pseudocode
select chart 1
move chart1 to Cells(1,4)
The goal would be to have the upper left hand of the chart at the specified cell location. You can get excel to do this by cuting and pasting the chart, but excel renames the chart in the process. You can also use the increment property to move the chart, but the move is relative to the starting location of the chart. I need a property that defines movements relative to location on the worksheet.
I hope this makes sense. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Steve
