My Excel 97 only lets me have 3 differtent conditional formats on the cell. Is there a way of increasing this ?

I want to make each cell a different colour depending on the number and need about 8 number ranges/colours

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December

Hi Dave, you will have to do this via VBA.
If you do a seach on Conditional Format I'm
sure you will find what you are looking for.
If you require further help on what you have found then post.

Happy Hunting
