Question:
Is there a formula that can let me convert text-number to number?
ie: 34.5# to 34.5
Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Just add zero.

="34.5"+0

Or, use the VALUE function...

=VALUE("34.5")

Hello Mark
I am in auto filer setting now. And I have one column with text-number and one blank column.
I tried both methods but they all give me a "#Value!" error
Did I miss any step?
