Why is it when I close some of my Excel spread sheets I am asked if I want to save them, even thou I have not made any changes

Excel Facts

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
Do you have any formulas like =now() or =today(), that are calculating when you open it?

If you use the 97 ver of excel, that is normally the case. But I dont see that it should be a problem in 2000,assuming you are using 2000.Sorry for my ignorance.
Are you running any macros in them ?
