Has anybody had success scanning data into an Excel worksheet. I have a mailing list with columns seperated by spaces. The data is of varying lengths, so using text to data after the scan results in lots of editing. Thanks

Here is some raw data as requested. I do appreciate all the input.

Hi I ahve used omnipge pro version 9 now its 10 theres a section for spreadsheets and all that, not so good i felt... can be on trial software as costs 500USD or 310GBP or 700AUD at todays cost in the UK..

other than that i felt all OCR software was usless for this.. into word fine yuuuuck! but newer OCR will deal with boxes and shades and formatting 90% accurate good as after spell checker...

If you cannot use a query provided by Office, a macro would have no problem breaking it up into columns.
Post an example of the raw stuff.

What about text to columns using space as a delimiter?

If this doesn't work, post some example data (like suggested above).
