Row and column labels

Can anyone tell me how to change the contents of the grey row and grey column tabs?

Do you mean the cell references? i.e. for columns A, B C etc?

If you do then you can change the column letters to numbers, but that is all you can do to them.

To do this go to Tools|Options|General TAB then make sure R1C1 Reference style is checked.
