Total Units Destroy Remaining %
100 99 1 100%

I'm dividing the Remaining by the Total to obtain the %. I need to change each % that less than 250% and make it 250%, in which case I would have to alter the Destroy #. Is there a formaula that can assist me rather than doing it manually?

Thanks!!

Anthony

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
I am not clear on your question.
Do you mean 25%

New Column C =MAX(B2,0.75*A2-B2)
Remaining % =(A2-B2-C2)/A2

Thanks for responding Dave! I did mean 250%. I actually have 5 columns.

Total Sellable Destroy Remaining %
100 30 50 50 167%

I'm dividing the Remaining by the Sellable to obtain the %. I would need to change the 50 (Destroy Column) to 25 in order to obtain the desired 250%. Does this make more sense?

Thanks again!!!

Hi Anthony:
If your Total, Sellable,Destroy, Remaining,% are in cells A2,B2,C2,D2,and E2,
then for 250pct you need to put the following formula in F2

=IF(E2<250%,D2*250%/E2,E2)

HTH
Please post back if it works for you ... otherwise explain a little further and let us take it from there!

Purely arithmetic ......

With 30 in B6
Remaining =B6*250%
% =G5/B5 250%

Or to adj (information?)

new column Revise =B5*250%-D5
new col G new Remaining =D5+F5

% =G5/B5 250%
