I know this is not really an Excel problem, but this is such a good site for Excel help, I wondered if any of you know of a similar site for MS Word help?
 

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
