I'm using MS Query to connect to an ODBC database (MAS90 for those who might know what this is) and I would like to know if I can program my macro to pass along the company, userid and password to the ODBC login so I don't have to enter this info everytime I want to run the app.

If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Hi

You should be able to simply edit your connection string and then remove the prompt or login dialog?

Sorry that last post went ????

Poss linked incorrectly

OK MAS90 is SAGE yes so will be cool in ODBC

If ODBC is new drivers then login once will allow repeat access via ODBC on network without re enter PW.

IF not speak with Administrater as poss old drivers in use or the way licence is set up. i couild be that must login each time.

I recall the Script will allow for auto enter PW as refresh takes place.

Does this help...

BTW Of cause if needs by Sage helpLine will solve this and will be a part of the maintaince service package you have bought as MAS90 is current...

Sage helpline is really very good in UK or so i have found, should be price yopu pay for software and stationary is aweful!
