I am trying to make a log book.
I have two Q’s.
1st. In column “G”, I need to put from A-B (A&B being destinations and are always changing.) I need the “-“ to indicate that the sum of columns I to R should be
placed in column T.

2nd. I need to have the sum of column X automatically placed into the beginning of a column X on the second, third page etc. of the same sheet.

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Hi Gord,

I am unclear about what your question is, so perhaps others are too. In your first question, do you mean that if the text in column G on any row contains a hyphen anywhere in it that the sum of columns I through R should be placed in column T of the same row?

Regarding your second question, how do you define a page? Do you mean a printed page (which would change depending on how you define paper size, orientation, etc.)? Have you defined page breaks on certain rows? Do you have a page header for each page built in to your worksheet? Do you have a fixed number of rows per page? The questions here are really trying to determine how the code would know where the top of a page is to place the starting total.

This should be very easy to do, but you need to spell out the instrustions MUCH clearer.
