I've looked, but can't find what I'm looking for. Short version: Old boss leaves, leaves behind a shared workbook everybody uses. Can be improved. I wish to do so for new boss, but of course a whole slew of options unavailable. Like conditional formatting. (This thing is more a template than a spreadsheet) How do I get around this? Thanks,
Bill

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Goto: Tool>Share Workbook and uncheck the 'Allow change by more than one user' box, this should un-share the book for you.
