Sum multiple columns using the same vlookup formula

I am trying to use a vlookup to sum multiple columns of data all in the same row.

I'm trying to use
=SUM(VLOOKUP($A7,'2008 Monthly TEMP Pivot'!$A:$N,{4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13},FALSE))
to sum columns 4,5,6...

But it is giving me the same result as
=VLOOKUP($A7,'2008 Monthly TEMP Pivot'!$A:$N,4,FALSE)

Is there a way to do what I'm trying with out summing 10 different vlookups?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Try...

=SUMPRODUCT(VLOOKUP($A7,'2008 Monthly TEMP Pivot'!$A:$N,{4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13},FALSE))

Thank you only a drafter! It was that simple, I was not using ctrl+shift+enter.

Thank you for the alternate suggestion Domenic. It would've have worked as well.
