i have a problem with declaring a macro to do an automated job. when the length and breadth is key in, the price and specification of die set must be automatically show up.
it is like this...
i have a excel file name Quote and Dieset
quote have the following(lenght, breadth, height which is user input)
Lenght: have to check the value of it from another excel file field(specification)which is written like this specification=lenght* breadth * height. check whether it equal to any cell then check breadth.

Breadth:check whether the breadth equal to the field which have the lenght user input.

Die set:refer to the die specification table (length* breadth* height(default 110)
or can refer to the lenght, breadth just calculated for the die.

Die price :refer to the table together with specifiaction. when the die specifiaction is found.

Height:eek:ptional input by default is 110

Specification have only the specification of die (select from quote the lenght* breadth* height) and the price of the die.

i don't know how to check the dieset specifiaction when user key in the lenght and breadth. i know i can use index to check the price of the dieset. but i can't check the specifiaction.
how m i goin to do this? using wat method??
can help anyone??
Thanks.
