Sorting problem

I have worksheets where the first two rows are the header rows. For most worksheets I just click one of the header rows and click the Sort Ascending button. But for some worksheets sorting does not work where the sorted data is shifted to very top and the header rows are at the bottom. I tried also using the Data – Sort function on the menu bar and selected “Header row” and first heading row is missing. How can solve this problem?

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
I think you will find the sorts will work better if you limit your header rows to one row. If you need to display more than one line in a cell, use Alt+Enter to force a line break in the cell. Make sure you've choosen the wrap text option.
