I have a report showing sales figures in millions (i.e. 1,450,312). I need to show this in 000s, i.e. 1,450. I know I can add another column and divide the number by 1,000, but this will be awkward on the report I have due to mutiple columns.

Is there a way I can simply format the cells to just show the rounded thousands? It seems like a really simple request, but I can't find it!

Many thanks.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Guys,

I need help to get the other way round.

I have a figure 0.1234 but I want it to be displayed as 123. Please help on how to achieve this by using custom number formats. Tq.
