Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
since you have had on answers to your post, I will volunteer an approach to your problem, which might be totally unsuited!

Say your data starts in cell A2, and the headings in A11. Insert two new rows 2 and 3. On your chart, click on a plot point, to get to the Series Data, then click on Source Data. There, change the range from A4 to A2. Now, enter a point you want to identify on your char in the data table, usint the x,y data, in A2,B2.

Unfortunately, to see the point A2,B2, you will also see all otherpoints used for your chart, which might make this method unacceptable :(
