AutoSave

In the Office 97 version of Excel, when you selected "AutoSave" from the Tools menu and deselected "prompt before saving," Excel remembered this selection every time you opened the program, even after you re-boot. In the Office 2000 version, Excel remembers the "AutoSave" selection, but you have to go in each time you reopen the program and deselect "prompt before saving" all over again. This gets very annoying when you are working with more than one spreadsheet at a time and do not want to be prompted everytime it is time to save! Does anyone know of a way to tell Excel that the prompt should be deselected every time the program is opened?

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
HI

Good question

Anyosave is a nasty little thing that causes all kinds of agros, but we dont want to delve intio them now.

The way Excel save naturally save or save as or ctrl + s are dreadful by programming standards, not tht i can do better but gawd alone knows why we cant have Words way of fast save, not the ruvbbish excel offers.

NO you can in E97 and wont.. can adjust so VBA trips OnTime to save at every 10 mins which is the same but less probmatic.

XP is better but the sane bgs appear. Word i have with passions no reason bar its not excel but Excel i love and she would be sexy witth words save technologys.

Maybe one day!
