This was given to our helpdesk who struck out. Here's the original question: How do I take 3/25/02 9:00PM and subtract 3/24/02 7:00PM to get time difference in decimal hours? Please email back spread sheet with example

Any ideas? Feel free to email me.

Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hiya,

Try this:

(date1 - date2)*24

(format the cell for number)

That should do it.
