Adding Cells in Multiple Worksheets

I am having trouble adding cells in multiple worksheets. The cells I want to add have formulas in them so that if there is no numbers to add, the cells will be blank. When I try to add the blank cells I get a #Value! error code. I have tried to use the sum function and the sumif and neither works. Any suggestions? I would gladly send the workbook to anyone who could look at it. The formulas in the cells that I am trying to add are: =IF(SUM(D6:D23)=0,"",SUM(D6:D23)). This is in cell D24 on several worksheets. If there are numbers in all of the cells I am trying to calculate, it works. If any of the cells are blank, I get the error code. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.

I was just playing with your formula and in a blank cell I get a blank, no error. Maybe you could give more info as to what the problem is.
