Changing column headers

How do you change numeric column headers back to lettered column headers. It has somehow become the default setting on my excel program.

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Use the Tools | Options... menu command, consult the General tab, and uncheck "R1C1 reference style".
