Hello,

I'm trying to protect a worksheet so that cells are protected but users can still group & ungroup sub-totals by using the Group/Ungroup symbols that appear at the margins.

When using the Protect command, I can't see a way to allow this to happen.

Does anyone know how this can be done for Excel 2003/2007 ?

Thanks

I'm a Mac user and an intermediate Excel user need to allow grouping and ungrouping in a protected sheet - can anybody help please?

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
I'am having a problem when I closed the worksheet, after I doing that, the code sent by the guy with a horse picture doesn't work anymore. I've followed all the steps but when I closed the file, everything go away. Looks like I had Protected the workheet by using the review tab, does anyone can help me ?
