Hi all

Is there a keyboard shortcut to select the name of the active worksheet? At the moment I have to double click on the [Sheet1] and then retype.

If there isn't, is there a macro which can select the name of the active worksheet?

Thanks

Matt

Hi Mtyler,

if you are using excel 2007 then the keyboard shortcut is

Alt + O + H + R

you dont neet to go through that code.

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Any chance of anyone posting the menus that this goes through as I am not using an english version .. and I simply can't find the menu where this is in the danish version ..

gaaah I'm going crazy that they allow access to all other areas than the sheet-line without mouse! lol :) If I could access the sheet line and move around in it with arrows I could just use the right-click button on my keyboard and it'd be fixed ..

I know this is an old thread, but hoping someone will see this *crosses fingers*
