Merge Files

I have approx 20 files that I need to merge into 1. I'm trying to avoid cutting and pasting files 2 thru 20 into file #1. Is there a way to do this w/o using the cut and paste feature? Thanks.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Yes, it usually just requires a simple VBA macro to merge files. But to give any more specific information about how to do that would require knowing what you mean by "merge". Do you just want to transfer all the worksheets from the other workbooks into one workbook? Or perhaps you want to copy columns of data from worksheets in other workbooks to a particular destination in the source workbook? Or perhaps you want to check all worksbooks for the most recent information and consolidate all the most recent cell values into one workbook?
