How do I lock out cells where I have put formulas so that someone else can't type over that cell? Thanks.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Go to Format/Cells, click on Protection. Then go to Tools/Protection/protect worksheet

On the specific cell, right click. Select format, protection, and check off locked. In order for this to work, the worksheet must be protected (tools, protection, protect sheet, password, re-enter password).

I have done both of these things. It doesn't work. Am I missing something?
