This seems like it should be very simple. WhatI am trying to do is in a macro take a value from one cell add to it and place it in another cell.

How is this done? anyone out there know?

Thanks in advance
Paul

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Try the following:

[a1].Value = [a2].Value + [a1].Value

It takes the value in Cell A2 and adds it to the value in cell A1 and puts the result in A1.
