    I need help with an assignment. I am trying to use v-lookup. the file that I am using is at http://www.business.utah.edu/~sonja/...am/prducts.xls, I know how to name the table, but it is just really stumping me. Can you please help.? I also need to know how to change the file so that the formulas show instead of the #'s . Thanks for the help

    Hi,

    To show formulas rather than the results of formulas, go on the menu to Tools|Options|View and then put a check in the Formulas box.

    Keep in mind that this will change the layout of your spreadsheet somewhat, as columns will expand to display the entire formula in each cell.
