Is there any way to alter the default button colours or backgrounds in Excel?

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
The only way I know to do this is by changing the colors and fonts in Windows, but this will change the appearance of every program and not just Excel. Appearance tab in display properties.
