I am using MS Office 97. I would like to display a spreadsheet in my Word document exactly as it appears in Excel. Every method I try results in some form of corruption - colours, formatting or clipping etc. How can I achieve this?

Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
In Word, have you tried Insert|File then browsed to your Excel file?
...Or Insert|Object?

Yes - tried that, and get formatting problems. Also tried copy/paste, and insert object/create from file with same result.

Paste as picture generally provides the best WYSIWYG.

Thanks Dreamboat - the paste as picture worked once I turned the "wrap" feature off. A bit clunky (thanks Bill) but it worked.
