How to Create Vertical Bar Chart

Seemingly super simple, but I can't figure it out.

When I create a bar chart, the bars are horizontal. I want the chart bars to be vertical. It tried to rotate the chart so that it is vertical, but the "rotate" options are greyed out.

How do I get those bars vertical?

Sorry all. Please ignore. I figured it out. Instead of selecting the "bar chart" option, I should have selected the "column" chart option.
