Someone wants to sort columns G-K so that the data in col. G matches the data in col. A. Example:
    Before Sort After
    Col. A Col. G Col. G
    A1234 X9988 A1234
    B5678 A1234
    Z4455
    X9988 X9988

The blank cells must be included.

    Any ideas, anyone?

    Hiya,

I do not think you can use the standard sort approach to get exact matches to a specific column. You can get the same results by using a VLOOKUP for each column that needs to be sorted. If you haven't played with VLOOKUPs much, it's worth checking it out in Excelhelp as this function is a very handy tool.

    Hope that helps,
    Adam
