I have created a simple macro in this excel spreadsheet. Everything works fine until I sent the attachment to my boss. It does not work and keep showing s pop up error msg.

What could be wrong?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Don't you thin k it might help if you showed us the code and tell us where it errors, or shall we just guess?

It could be several things,

1. is your macro stored in the actual worksheet or in your personal.xls workbook.

2. is your bosses macro security level set to allow your macro to run.

Perhaps your boss has an older version of Excel ie some of my macros wriitn in Excel 2007 do not work in our offices Excel 2000 machines.

It could also be your marco uses references which are not set on the other pc.
