remove a deleted macro

I recorded a macro and then later decided I didn't need it. I went in to tools, macro, macros and selected it and then deleted it. I still get the enable macros when I open this file. I read that I had to go into Visual Basic Editor and remove it, but when I go there, there is nothing to remove. Can you tell me how to remove this enable macros message now that there are no macros in this file?

thanks,
Mrs.Meeker

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Is there a module attached to your workbook in Visual Basic Editor?

If yes, use File - Remove Module
