    When opening a exel file following message is displayed: The workbook you opened contains automatic links to information in another workbook.
    Is there a easy way to find the linked cell.

    Also, you can try clicking on Edit > Links for the name & file path of the source workbook. Sometimes a named range refers to another workbook representing the link source, so check your named ranges too.
