Is there any way to make an adobe pdf file open through an excel macro?
I work in the banking department where our bank statements are emailed as pdf files.

The name with which the files are saved are available in Cell A1 of my workbook.

Is there any way to run a macro which will open the pdf file, the name of which is in cell A1, from a particular path?

Thanks in advance,

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Well that might be hard as there aren't really any such things as 'Adobe' PDF files.

Adobe is just an application used to allow users to view PDF files.

I think you should probably look into using hyperlinks.

I agree with Norie. If you use a hyperlink (Insert>Hyperlink from the menu bar) to the file you don't need any macros. You can just click the hyperlink and the file will open (in Adobe or whatever the native app is that opens PDFs).
