Using Auto-Refresh In Web Queries

When using auto-refresh in Excel 2000 to obtain updated external data from the Web, I would like to know if two things are possible.

1) Can I limit the amount of time Excel spends in looking for the update? I would like the update to stop looking after 1 minute.

2) Many times, I get an "Unable to Obtain Update" or “Unable to connect to URL” dialogue box. Is there a way to automatically hit the "ok" button on this dialog box? Excel seems to stop doing automated tasks when this dialog box appears, and since I'm away from the computer for long periods of time (15-30 minutes), I would like to get rid of this box automatically when it appears.

Thanks for any response.

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
For your second question you can try using the code: application.displayalerts=false

But I don't know if that will work for you.
